We got this for our daughter's playroom and she's been spending so much time in it. She brings her books and stuffed animals inside and just hangs out. It looks really nice in the room too, which is a bonus because most kids' stuff isn't exactly pretty. Really happy with this one.
Evan D. · Verified buyerI bought this for a corner in my living room that always felt a little empty. It's exactly what I was looking for. The shape is so pretty and it looks much more interesting than a regular stool. I've already had a couple of people ask me where I got it. Very pleased with my purchase!
Lynette M. · Verified buyerThis was my first time ordering from Dreaming & Living and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I had a question about my order and the customer service team was very helpful. Everything arrived safely and I'm really pleased with what I ordered. It's nice to find a store with so many lovely things for the home. I'll definitely be browsing again!
Margaret P. · Verified buyerStudying the periodic table from flat diagrams often leaves the actual substances feeling abstract and distant.
Textbook charts show atomic weights and abbreviations, but they cannot show how elements actually look in person. This tabletop display showcases eighty-three distinct element samples embedded directly into individual labeled cells. Radioactive and hazardous elements are deliberately excluded, so every sample remains safe for everyday viewing. A built-in lighting channel casts warm illumination upward through the clear block to reveal fine textures in each compartment.
Why is this periodic table desk display so popular?
Ideal for:
Chemistry students exploring element structures, science teachers demonstrating real elements in class, and curious hobbyists building a desktop science collection.
How is the display powered?
The display connects using a USB plug-in cord. You can plug it into any standard USB wall adapter, hub, or computer port.
Are the element samples safe to keep at home or in a classroom?
Yes. All radioactive and hazardous elements are excluded, and the included samples are sealed securely inside the clear panel.
Can the display be viewed without turning on the light?
Yes. The element specimens and printed details remain clearly visible even when the lighted base is switched off.
Where is the best spot to set up the display?
It sits comfortably on any flat surface, such as a study desk, library shelf, or credenza near a USB power source.
